Brett Smith

Brett returned to University and in 2018 graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Masters in Podiatric Practice.

Brett has always enjoyed interacting and helping people and so a profession in podiatry was the perfect fit for him.

He’s always had a keen interest in the way people walk, run and move. This is most likely because of the variety of sports Brett competed in while he was younger. Brett is still very active, cycling being his main love; this allows him to relate to a lot of the issues and injuries that patients present with.

He enjoys treating a variety of patients from all walks of life but has particular interest in rehabilitation from injury which allows him to form management plans to ensure quick relief and long term improvements.

Ernest Lim

Ernest was born in Singapore and was educated there before moving to Melbourne to further his studies at Latrobe University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice.

He is interested in all aspects of podiatry and also gained valuable experience working in two different hospitals in Singapore as an allied health assistant (AHA) prior to his studies. In his spare time, Ernest enjoys the outdoors and camping/fishing around Victoria.

Given his Singaporean-Chinese ethnicity, Ernest also speaks fluent mandarin and cantonese.

Apeksha Kumar

Apeksha graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor of Podiatry and has recently relocated from Brisbane. She enjoys the diverse nature of podiatry and is passionate about helping people stay active, mobile, and pain-free. While she values all aspects of podiatric care, Apeksha has a particular interest in managing sports injuries, conducting diabetic foot assessments, treating ingrown toenails and fungal nail infections.

With a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, Apeksha aims to deliver high quality care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. She takes a personalised approach, working closely with her patients to find the most effective treatment pathways for maintaining optimal foot health.

Outside of work, Apeksha has a love for travel and enjoys exploring new destinations, immersing herself in different cultures and cuisines. Her focus on compassionate, individualized care reflects her dedication to enhancing the health and wellbeing of every patient she treats.

Wendy Dixon

Wendy brings a wealth of knowledge to the Your Foot Clinic team, having mentored many Podiatrists including our current director Matt.

With 30+ years clinical experience she is a highly credentialed and passionate Podiatrist. Wendy has previously owned multiple clinics across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs and the North Shores of Sydney.

She is a busy mum of four children and has recently returned from Sydney to be closer to her family.

Thomas Hoogenraad

Tom graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Podiatric Practice.

He has experience across all areas of podiatry and enjoys helping patients with a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. Tom is passionate about delivering patient-centred care, taking the time to understand your goals and tailoring treatment plans to suit your individual needs.

Tom has a particular interest in the management of ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, and corns. He especially enjoys performing ingrown toenail procedures and helping patients overcome heel pain, with a strong focus on getting you back to the activities you enjoy as quickly and safely as possible.

Outside of the clinic, Tom leads an active lifestyle and has a keen interest in sport. He enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time in his garden.

Eleanor Milaszewicz

Eleanor graduated from La Trobe University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Podiatric Practice.

Eleanor enjoys all aspects of podiatry and loves the variety that each new day brings working in private practice. She has developed a special interest in working with the ageing population, with a passion for keeping people active and pain free.

Eleanor prides herself on providing compassionate, inclusive, quality care with a focus on patient education and empowerment.

Sarah Oliver

Sarah graduated from La Trobe University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Podiatry.

While Sarah is passionate about all areas of podiatry, her particular interest lies in Dance Podiatry. This specialisation focuses on addressing the unique foot care needs of dancers, helping them maintain optimal performance while preventing injuries.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah is involved in the world of dance. She runs a successful dance studio, where she shares her love for dance with her students. Her dual role as a podiatrist and dance studio owner allows her to combine her two passions, providing a well-rounded approach to both disciplines.

In addition to her professional commitments, Sarah is a mother to two boys, balancing out her career and family life.

Liam Rothwell

After completing his Bachelor of Podiatry at Latrobe University Liam began working alongside leading Physiotherapists and sports medicine doctors in Melbourne and London.

Liam has continued to expand his training and has obtained further practical experience in a number of clinics in Melbourne. His treatments extend to Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation, Foot Strengthening Techniques and Running Assessment and Re-training.

Liam has been a Podiatrist contributor for Medibank “Be” Magazine. With two young children of his own, Liam loves helping other kids live pain free to enjoy life. As an active sports participant, including running and playing hockey at national levels, Liam has suffered a variety of injuries. This enables him to provide an understanding approach to help find the right diagnosis and develop your treatment plan for long lasting results.

Matt Grant

Matt completed a Bachelor of Podiatry at Latrobe University and gained valuable experience in private and public podiatry settings.

Today, Matt continues to attend seminars and conferences so he is up to date with the latest advances and practices in Podiatry and personal training.

Matt is a keen sportsman. He has an extensive background in athletics/cross-country and played football for a number of years. As a qualified personal trainer and successful gym manager, Matt has a keen interest in sports Podiatry, biomechanical analysis and footwear prescription.

Ongoing education and training means Matt has gained further qualifications in Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation, Foot Strengthening Techniques plus Running Assessment and Re-training. Among many of Matt’s patients are professional runners and AFL boundary umpires. Seeing a need to provide additional services, Matt established the Eastern section of the Home Podiatry team, which provides at home service for patients unable to visit the clinic.
